You will take your time to tame steel and familiarize yourself with the basic tool, hammer, saw… and electric tolls like driller, grinder, saw, jig.... You will assemble mechanically your realization, riveting, screwing … as needed. You will learn how to thread… Tips to make work easier will complete your skills.

You will assemble your realization by arc welding. Before welding, you will learn to consider forms you have to assemble, their thicknesses, the usefulness of a chamfer… You will learn how to set the welder up, to select the right electrode…, then you will be initiated and you wille be ready to use this technique for your project.

3. « mechanical assembling and arc welding » |

To assemble your realization, you will learn to discern when it is necessary to assemble mechanically or by welding. You will be initiated to the electric arc welding technique and you will learn mechanical assembling. This overview of different techniques to work steel will make you feel at ease to express your creativity. |

Collect all kind of metal objects, or pieces, which forms please you and bring them up. You will learn to differentiate metals. You will cut off what you need for your realization, and you will learn arc welding when it is steel (reminder: steel is magnetic!) or to assemble mechanically other metals. |
