Man has to feel responsible for the good running of our planet ecosystem, we are now aware of it. He discovered and isolated this natural element that is aluminium and invented techniques for its extraction out of bauxite, by electrolysis and other complex chemical processes.
Contemporary material now inevitable, with infinite possibilities of alloys, aluminium took its part in the explosion of limits of what we considered as technologically possible. With its density, aluminium has taken an important part in the modernization process of the aeronautic and aerospace industry.
Aluminium is also one raw material for contemporary art: architecture, design, fashion and sculpture.
But Nature, which governs all human activities must be respected and its resources preserved. Recycling aluminium saves natural resources and up to 95% of the energy needed to produce it. Recycled aluminium has the same properties as the primary metal.
This is the material that keeps its value the best after use. Like glass, it can be recycled endlessly. Recycled aluminium will be used mainly in alloys for castings and in sheets for the building and automotive equipment.
The cycle between man, nature and aluminium now runs and as my smelter in middle of his aluminium castings, we are full within the era of "sustainable development". |
