Raymond Converset explores the expressiveness of metals.
He draws his inspiration from the observation of nature, of shapes and structures, minerals and vegetal associated with what comes from his unconscious.
He studies the volume, the balance of the different elements in order to transmit the contrasted feeling of weight or lightness, and movement.
He gives a particular attention to the pure lines, soaring up, creating space.The angles are sharp, metals catch the play of light, shapes produce a living shimmer. |
